2025 Open/Switch Enrollment

  The NMPSIA Open/Switch Enrollment period for enrolling or making changes

 OPENS on October 1, 2024, and CLOSES on November 1, 2024.

 Please note there is no action required if you do not wish to make any changes. Current coverage will automatically renew for the following year.

 IMPORTANT! Employee Changes will NOT be Accepted After Nov 1, 2024  

 

NEW MEXICO TECH ID 108-Open Enrollment allows regular and temporary full-time employees the opportunity to add medical, dental and vision and/or add eligible dependents to these benefits.  This is not the time for adding LTD or Additional Life (allowed only via Evidence of Insurability at any time during the year).

 

Medical:  Employees who are currently enrolled in NMPSIA medical coverage can switch medical plan options (high option/low option, EPO Option) or carriers (Blue Cross Blue Shield of NM and Presbyterian Health Plan).

Prescription Plan: Prescriptions will be offered through CVS Caremark.  You are NOT limited to CVS pharmacies.

Dental:  Employees who are currently enrolled in NMPSIA dental coverage can switch dental plan options (high option/low option).

Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Dental is a new carrier option along with Delta Dental and United Concordia.

Vision Plan:  Vision will be offered through Davis Vision.  Benefits now include Frames every 12 months instead of every 24 months.  Frame allowance is now $150 and $200 and Visionworks.

Please remember that there is a two-year minimum enrollment requirement for Davis Vision.  Cancellation of vision coverage is allowed only when all family members have been enrolled for 2 or more years.

If the supportive documentation- Marriage Certificate (not a Marriage License), Birth Certificate or Court Order is not turned in prior to January 1, 2025, the effective date of coverage for these dependents will be delayed as follows; effective the first of the month following the day your employee turns in the required documentation within 61 days from January 1, 2025.  

Open/Switch Enrollment can be completed online.  Go to Employee Login by November 1, 2024.
